Is there a subscription?

No. notaros is pay-as-you-go. Full service is $25 per document, programmatic anchoring is $3 per anchor, and bulk drops per document on a published curve — all with no monthly fee, no minimum, and no stored balance.

In USDC or USDT only — dollar stablecoins, on Base and other supported EVM networks, Tron, and Solana. notaros does not accept credit or debit cards, bank transfers, PayPal, cash, or any other cryptocurrency or token. You pay a one-time address the exact amount for your order; notaros fronts the on-chain anchoring cost and gas, so you do not need to hold the native gas token.

Do you offer volume pricing?

Yes, and it is fully self-service — no account and no quote from a person. Anchor many document fingerprints as one Merkle batch in a single call and the per-document price drops automatically on a published curve, from $3 each (1–10) down to $0.15 each (10,000+). The /quote endpoint computes the exact price for your quantity.

No stored value. notaros never holds a prepaid balance for you. Each notarization — one document or one Merkle batch — is a discrete unit, paid in full and consumed once. Verification of any proof is free, forever, and needs nothing from us.

Why is verification free?

Because it must be. A proof that only we can check would be worthless. Anyone can verify a notaros certificate against the public chain with our open verifier or ordinary tools, at no cost, whether or not notaros still exists.

What is the $25 actually for?

Fronting and paying the on-chain anchoring on Base plus the Bitcoin/OpenTimestamps commitment, generating and signing your PDF certificate, and hosting a verifier page — all delivered as a single finished proof you keep.

Do you offer refunds?

Each notarization is paid in full and consumed on anchoring. If a notarization fails on our side and cannot be completed, the affected order is refunded. Once your fingerprint is anchored, the proof is delivered and the unit is spent.
